What we are learning about this Term?
Autumn Term 2 2026- Creature Features
Our planet is home to a variety of different creatures which are adapted to survive in a range of habitats. As Scientists, we will consider what animals need to survive so that they are able to complete their lifecycle and produce offspring. Fables are stories which include animal characters and teach a moral, we will explore different fables so that we are able to create our own with our choice of characters, problems and solutions. We will also create instructions detailing how to care for an animal, as well as creating animal poems, challenging ourselves to include adjectives and rhymes. In DT, following existing product research, we will be designing and creating pet food packaging using ICT to design nets of 3D shapes.
