What we are learning about this Term?

Summer Term 1 2026- Mad about Minibeasts

In Witham Class our new topic is called Mad About Minibeasts. In English, we will be inspired by minibeasts to write in different genres including poems, riddles, instructions and fact files. During DT, we will be designing, making and evaluating our own minibeasts toys which we will sew together using blanket stitch. As Scientists, we will be exploring the different habitats and microhabitats around out school grounds. We will collect and record data and consider how the different habitats support survival for different living things.
