What we are learning about this Term?
Summer Term 2 2026 – Food Glorious Food
Our new topic, Food Glorious Food, invites children to explore the wonderful world of what we eat. We’ll be learning to write our own recipes, discovering where ingredients come from across the globe, and investigating how food is grown, produced, and prepared. In geography, we’ll track food journeys from field to fork, while in science we’ll explore plants, nutrition, and cooking processes. Stories, art, maths, and history will all connect back to food, helping children see how it shapes cultures and communities. This topic celebrates creativity, curiosity, and the joy of tasting and learning about the world.
